Pinedale Properties has been involved in developing, owning, and operating thousands of rental units in the GTA through three generations of ownership by the Grossman family. Pinedale was one of the first landlords to draw media attention for its practices during the pandemic when, near the beginning of last year's lockdown, tenants at its Crescent Park building reported that property managers were going door-to-door with credit card terminals, demanding payments on the spot while downplaying the severity of COVID and even claiming the pandemic was "nothing".
